Rumors of Kellan Lutz and Miley Cyrus being in a relationship has been circling the media lately, but the "Hercules" star Kellan Lutz insisted that he is just friends with the "Bangerz" singer.
According to PerezHilton, the actor told the Today show, "It's comical for me. I'm a public figure, she's a public figure, I've been friends with her for six years and we're in the same circle....I'm dating everyone these days, let's just start that rumor!"
The alleged rumors did not die down, and Lutz was not amused when rumors of a "comical" situation was taken one step too far.
Blogger Perez Hilton alleged on his blog that Lutz and Miley Cyrus are friends with benefits. According to Hilton's blog, a source claimed that "She [Cyrus] says she's using him for sex, but she's starting to care about him. He just sees her as another conquest."
Entertainment Wise chronicled the debacle between the hunk and the blogger, noting that Perez then tweeted to the ex-Twilight star, "Condoms are important!" to which a fan responded by telling the blogger to "shut up."
Lutz took it to himself to reply, "Thank you Kay [the fan], I find Perez and his 'insiders' very inappropriate. Just rude."
Perez did not stop, as he asked Lutz, "So you're saying you don't like condoms?"
Kellan then refrained from replying, but Perez carried on, insisting that he's a fan of the 'Twilight' actor but he has to do his job.
"I'm a fan of his and have always supported him. But I do not give three f**ks if he likes me or not. I do my job."
Lutz later shared an inspirational tweet from another account, possibly as a subtle response to Perez Hilton's continuous blasts. The tweet read, "One's dignity may be assaulted, vandalized and cruelly mocked, but cannot be taken away unless it is surrendered."
