This bit of news comes as another low blow for momager Kris Jenner - and something that may seal her alleged reputation for hustling her own daughters into fame and fortune.
Back in 2012, TMZ reported that Kris Jenner masterminded daughter Kim Kardashian's 2007 sex tape. The entertainment rag even revealed that the Kardashian matriarch "not only directed Kim to shoot her sex tape, but to re-shoot because Kris J didn't think the first one was pretty enough."
Woah!
However, the accusations, which were instigated by ex-Mr. Kim Kardashian, Kris Humphries, were denied by both celebrity mother and daughter.
This time, whisperings of the celebrity momager barring her daughters from dating unknowns and cash-strapped dudes have emerged, according to Hollywood Life. A source "close to the Jenner clan" told the online news site that Kyle and Kendall are only allowed to go out with name-droppable boys who are currently in the spotlight.
"[Kendall and Kylie's boyfriends] need to be famous and in the current limelight," said the insider. "They must be a big deal to get the sisters the media they thrive on, and that is why Harry Styles was a set up at first. Its all about the Kardashian brand, and Kendall and Kylie have bought into it and use relationships as career builders more than anything else. This was one major issue when it came to Kris and Bruce's marriage - Bruce wanted them to have a more normal life but he is outnumbered, and they want to be like Kim and will do anything Kris says to make it happen. Its like they are robots."
Wow - now that's why they call her "momager"! However, that's not all the said source revealed.
"To date one of the Jenner sisters you have to meet up with Kris Jenner and she must give her 100% blessing. She wants major success for Kylie and Kendall because they are the future of the Kardashian paychecks. Most guys meet the parents of a girl they date eventually, [but] it's normal protocol in the Kardashian household that anyone that is about to date them must provide something more than just compatibility emotionally," the mole told Hollywood Life.
Recently, Kylie Jenner lashed out at this juicy revelation, saying that she wasn't making her romances a "publicity stunt."
According to the Daily Mail, she tweeted on January 11 that she could not believe "the fact that some people actually believe I would waste my time dating someone as a publicity stunt."
So it's not true then, Kylie?
