Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards splurged on a surprise Disneyland Paris getaway for her One Direction fiancé, Zayn Malik, in celebration of his birthday.
The British singing heartthrob, who will turn 21 on January 12, has just come off a successful world tour and released a record-breaking album together with his fellow 1D bandmates. He had proposed to the blonde beauty in August and got a happy "yes" in response. The couple have since gone on to plan for their wedding, which they said will happen in 2015 due to their super-packed schedules.
Apparently, with this pre-birthday getaway, the loved-up pair is determined not to let their busy schedules keep them from spending time with each other. Now that's commitment!
According to the Daily Mail, Zayn and Perrie checked in at the luxurious Disneyland Hotel while at the park, and also got the honor of being visited by the most famous Mouse in the world, which delighted the One Direction band member to no end.
Zayn showed his love for Disney by wearing a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt for the occasion, posing with his soon-to-be-wife and the famous mascot with a huge grin. Not satisfied, he even whipped out his phone and took selfies with Mickey Mouse! Of course, Perrie was included in the snaps, sandwiched by her handsome beau and the Disney character. She was wearing a more "understated" outfit that resembled Mickey's characteristic black suit.
Aside from the happy meeting with the iconic Disney character, the couple also got to try out the rides at the park - Peter Pan's Flight and Big Thunder Mountainand, among a few. They also took shots of other Disney landmarks, like the romantic Sleeping Beauty Castle. The young lovers then capped their day with a Disney Dreams fireworks display, the Daily Mail said.
