Some rumors circulating online and off turn out to be true and some don't. In the latest turn of events in pop sensation Ariana Grande's love life, it appears that recent whisperings about a supposed cozy-up with actor Adrian Grenier is a fabricated one. At least according to Ari.
Star Magazine reported that the 20-year-old beauty was seen "cozying up" to the 'Entourage' star. A link to the piece was sent to her on Twitter. Her response?
"Who the hell is that?"
The said Star Magazine blurb alleged that both stars "were very flirty" at a Republic Records party in New York City on December 12. It also said that a "fellow partygoer" saw them "playfully touching each other all night before disappearing together."
Hmm, sounds out of character for the wholesome singer-actress.
However, a photo published by the magazine appeared to prove that Ari DOES know Adrian. The publication also alleges that a fan presented the photographic evidence, saying that "she knows who he is." The image shows both celebrities, who has a 17-year difference, posing with a woman.
Woah, what do you say now, Ariana?
Earlier, the "Almost Is Never Enough" singer made headlines in entertainment rags for an odd rant she unleashed on Twitter, according to Cambio. Was it the jet lag getting to you Ari?
"It's bizarre how we think we know each other based upon what we post online. I just read my tweets pretending I didn't know me & got annoyed," she began.
"We post & think it's a good representation of who we are but there's so much more to us. we think we know each other but we don't it's weird."
"lol it's just weird to think. Alexa and I were talking about how people perceive us & how different actually we are & we perceive ourselves," she continued.
"For example some people think I'm like Cat & they're shocked when they meet me & I'm actually not demented & my voice isn't strange and high. or like some people think that I'm like a 12 year old girl but I'm actually just an 80 year old lady with the mouth of a sailor.".
"I'm probably gonna wake up & be like wtf did I tweet last night ew. I read interviews from like Sept & I'm like 'I said that? that's not me'."
"Long story short nobody knows anybody how their family & closest friends know them so don't trip about what people think of u / say about u. These tweets were lame but they seemed good in the moment love u goodnight," she concluded, with all tweets viewable on her Twitter account posted on Jan. 4.
