After a year full of complicated relationships, American actress Eva Longoria seems to be set on ending 2013 as best as possible. In recent months the former "Desperate Housewives" star has been seen with her new boyfriend, Televisa executive José "Pepe" Bastón.
In the most recent of these encounters, the couple went to a Beverly Hills restaurant on Friday, December 27, according to Mirror.uk.
Wearing a pink dress, the lovely 38-year-old actress was photographed with the 45-year-old Mexican businessman, one of the top executives of Mexican TV network Televisa.
A mere month and a half after going public with their romance, Longoria and Bastón have had no problems with going together to various social events and restaurants both in Mexico and the US.
Last November, the couple was present at the inaugural dinner of the Jumex Museum, in the Casa de la Bola Museum in the state of Mexico, and since then endless rumors circulated about a relationship between the two.
According to People en Español, Longoria and Bastón were seen together at the Serafina restaurant in New York last October; however, their first appearance together was at the previously mentioned inauguration of the Jumex Museum in November, and an Art Basel Miami event in early December.
After "Desperate Housewives" ended last year, the talented actress has been involved in numerous projects not only on TV, but in public life. In late November, US media said that Longoria, a notorious defender of Hispanic rights in the US, might want to become a Senator.
"Eva wants to start with a low-ranking office, maybe in a town hall in her native Texas or as Mayor in San Antonio or Corpus Christi. Her two-year plan is to become a Senator," confirmed E! News.
