Academy Award winner Kate Winslet gave birth to her third son almost two weeks ago; however, during this time the lovely actress and her husband, businessman Ned Rocknroll, decided to keep a low profile after the birth of their first son together.
However, sources close to the family have revealed the name of the new baby, and it's quite a surprise. Regarding original, weird or at least curious names, celebrities seem to be in a world of their own.
As Gwyneth Paltrow did some time ago by naming one of her children "Apple", Winslet and Rocknroll have decided to name their son with the name of an adorable animal: Bear.
According to The Huffington Post, the name is not as rare as it would seem, at least not among celebrities. In 2011, actress Alicia Silverstone named her son Bear Blu, while Jamie Oliver named his son Buddy Bear Maurice in 2010.
Born on December 7th, Winslet's son will carry her mother's surname, Winslet, and not his father's who changed his from Smith to Rocknroll. It's the couple's first son together, although the actress has two other children, product of previous relationships.
Kate, 38, and Ned, 35, got married on December, 2012, and in June of this year the couple revealed they were expecting their first son together, according to E! News.
After starring in the movie "Labor Day", the British actress decided to take a well-deserved rest to focus her attention on the new baby and remains isolated from the media.
