Mexican singer Paulina Rubio successfully ended her first participation in the American TV show "The X Factor".
During the reality show's finale which sought to find the best musical talents in the US Paulina Rubio took the opportunity to surprise the jury and audiences by singing one of her most famous songs in English.
With the "Boys Will Be Boys" song, the Mexican singer provided a performance that even Simon Cowell enjoyed. According to People, the "The X Factor" judge said that Rubio left it all on the stage.
At the start of the new season of the TV show, the singer was excited and said she was a fan of Cowell, who invited the Mexican singer to be a judge on the show.
The 42-year-old singer's performance in the finale, started out with a group of dancers dressed in black who performed acrobatics throughout the stage.
The audience was able to witness the incredible set of lights that spectacularly illuminated Paulina's entrance to the rhythm of the chorus in English.
The singer wore a black cape, a tall hat with shiny adorns and long boots that matched her black outfit that highlighted the "Golden Girl's" legs.
Paulina Rubio danced during the entire song and she was sometimes carried by her dancers who took off their shirts, leaving their abdomens uncovered on which they had written "Pau" in red letters.
After the singer's performance, Paulina became the focus of criticism on social networks since audiences who watched the finale were angry at her use of playback during her performance.
If you take away dancers, lights and playback from Paulina Rubio's performance, all you're left with is a rejected La Academia contestant...
