Regarding the monumental job of casting for "The Expendables" movie franchise, Yahoo! Movies asked the perfect question: "How does Stallone, 'Expendables' movie after 'Expendables' movie, assemble lineups that 'Dancing With the Stars: The Action-Star Season' would trade its mirror-ball trophy for?"

If you're in veteran action movie headliner Sylvester Stallone's shoes, it shouldn't be hard. All those years of filmmaking should have enabled him to build a dense network of acting contacts, including those that co-star with him in the upcoming "Expendables 3".

Remember that eyebrow-raising switch he made August this year? The Daily Mail reported that the 67-year-old "Rambo" star announced, "Willis out, Harrison Ford in!" on his Twitter account, effectively kicking out "Die Hard" action hero Bruce Willis from the third "Expendables" installment after accusing him of being "greedy and lazy." Just like that - one superstar out and another in. Sly sure makes the casting process look so easy!

Okay, so there are a LOT of them. Let's do a written roll call of the star-studded action flick, shall we?

Of course, you got Stallone in there, plus returnees Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Kellan Lutz, Dolph Lundgren, Antonio Banderas, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and Jet Li (yes, he's still game for movies).

According to Coming Soon, new additions to the roster are Wesley Snipes, Ford, Mel Gibson (this controversial actor-director should be one reason why you must see the movie), MMA fighters Victor Ortiz and Ronda Rousey (the lone female in the group), Kelsey Grammer, and Glen Powell.

The third "Expendables" sequel will follow Barney (Stallone) and Christmas (Statham) in their quest to eliminate an old enemy, Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), once and for all with the help of "younger, faster, and more tech-savvy" recruits, Coming Soon reported. The film will showcase the contrast between high-tech skills and old-school strategies.

Directed by Patrick Hughes, the movie will be shown in theaters on August 15, 2014, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
