Mexican regional music band Los Recoditos occupied the first place in American radio stations with their song "Mi último Deseo".
Digital magazine Saps Grupero shared an interview in which the band told news agency Notimex their achievements with their latest album "El Free", which is one of the most asked-for albums on radio.
Los Recoditos pleased their fans with the launch of "Mi último Deseo" a song that Luis Ángel "El Flaco" sings, and the video of which has over 27 million views.
In the video, El Flaco is singing in parties accompanied by women, especially one that appears to be the traditional Mexican catrina. The singer also appears to die in the video while his bandmates take his coffin to the cemetery.
The band released "El Free" last April with the single "Cuando Te Entregues A Él" and has a digital version available in Mexico and the United States, according to Notimex.
"Mi Último Deseo" invites the band's fans to live and achieve their desires before dying, and in Mexico it became one of the favorites at the Billboard Awards.
On its Facebook account, the band published a message telling their fans about the achievements they got with their support.
"Without a doubt 'Mi Último Deseo' by Los Recoditos is a huge success popularity-wise thanks to their fans listening to it non-stop", the band wrote.
Some of the songs included in the album are "El Free", "Sin Su Amor", "El Veterano", "Buscando Venganza", and "Aquí Me Quedaré" among others.
The band will be playing in California on January 30th at the Indian Bingo and Casino in Highland and they hope to continue with a long tour through various American cities.
