Available exclusively at the Nintendo eShop, gamers can use their Nintendo 3DS and Wi-Fi connection to link to the Pokémon Bank.

With the Pokémon Bank, gamers can manage their own online space and fill up to 3,000 Pokémon on the service. Due to the massive number of Pokémon the Pokémon Bank can accept, the service will have an "advanced" filtering option.

With Pokémon Bank, people can also utilize the Pokémon Transporter, which will transfer Pokémon from across the four generation-five games ("Pokémon Black Version," "Pokémon White Version," "Pokémon Black 2 Version" and "Pokémon White 2 Version") and send them to the latest "Pokémon X" and "Pokémon Y" versions.

Pokémon gamers can purchase Pokémon Bank starting Dec. 27 and will be charged an annual fee of $4.99. Gamers, however, can download the Pokémon Bank and Pokémon Transporter with a 30-day free trial before Jan. 31, 2014.

The latest Pokémon video games feature a Torchic distribution event. Torchic is available for free with the item "Blazikenite," which will transform Torchic's last evolution, Blaziken, into "Mega Blaziken." The Fire-type Hoenn-region starter will be available for gamers worldwide until Jan. 15, 2014.
