Harry Styles Girlfriend & News Update: Top 3 Reasons Why Singer Won’t Leave One Direction

Rumors have been circulating around the web that Harry Styles is leaving One Direction and pursuing a solo career.

The rumor was apparently just that -- a rumor. The group's rep said on the The Daily Mail, "It's complete nonsense, of course."

This isn't the first time that the group faced this sort of speculation from the media. Here is a chronicle made by MTV as to the number of times the same issue has fueled up the rumor mill.

First, Barbara Walters asked the group in December 2012 of plans of going solo, Styles didn't give a concrete answer, but his bandmate, Zayn Malik did, saying,  "No way. It's not even, like, a question. We'd just be like, 'No, I'm not doing it.'"

In April 2013, Styles was again subjected to the same issue for allegedly recording without his bandmates. The rumor was again debunked by the group's rep, saying that the boys sometime work up ideas separately.

In June, Styles was once again in the limelight when leakage of song that featured only him, "Don't Let Me Go" went viral on the internet. Again, the team had to clarify the issue, saying that it was a demo that never made it to a 1D album.

In July, merely a month after the leakage of "Don't Let Me Go," Styles started working with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol, which left fans to again wonder about the possibility of a solo career, but this rumor was too, reported to be a recording session for 1D, not solely for Styles.

Considering how these rumors keep on coming up only to get refuted, here are three major reasons why Harry Styles (or any of the 1D boys) is not pursuing a solo career anytime soon:

First, according to The Daily Mail, "Simon Cowell, if you remember, paired all the boys together because separately they weren't as strong. But together they're stronger."

Second, in the same article, it was also said that "that the quintet will spend much of next year on a worldwide arena tour, leaving Harry with very little time to pursue a solo project."

And lastly, Styles loves his job. He told Australia's 60 Minutes, "I love this job so much, if you need to call it a job, and I'll be doing it until I was old and people were telling me to stop."

When asked about a solo career, Styles answered, "I'm all good, I'm a hundred per cent in this band."
