Jose Mourinho has his sights set on facing Galatasaray and former Chelsea star Didier Drogba in the Champions League round of 16.
The Ivorian has a long history with Mourinho and Chelsea as he was brought to Stamford Bridge by the Portuguese manager in 2004. Drogba won the Premier League title with the club and was also the decisive penalty shooter in the 2012 Champions League title victory.
"I think he deserves to come here," Mourinho said, according to ESPN. "I think he deserves a reception here even better than mine, because he deserves much more than me. He deserves to come here and get the reception I got against Hull City, but for Didier the double or three times better and bigger than I had.
"I know what I felt. I think he deserves that. So, yes, Galatasaray is difficult. Very difficult. But I'd like Didier to be back here and feel what I felt."
Galatasaray qualified for the knockout stages after defeating Juventus at home on Wednesday. The game was originally started on Tuesday, but snow covered the entire pitch during the game and the match was moved to the following day.
Chelsea qualified for the tournament as the first place side in Group E. The team could face Galatasaray, Bayer Leverkusen, Olympiacos, Schalke 04, Zenit St. Petersburg or AC Milan. Galatasaray could wind up playing any of the top-seeded sides except for Real Madrid, which was in the same group as the Turkish team during the first round of the tournament.
