The consequences of Justin Bieber's trip to Argentina are far from over.

Besides "accidentally" disrespecting the Argentinian flag and being accused of mistreating members of the press, the pop star could now face international justice. The lawyers of a photographer who was allegedly punched by the singer are promoting a petition through Interpol.

According to El Universal, Víctor Stinfale and Matías Morla, the photographer's lawyers, said that the singer's security team punched the Argentinian man and stole his film when Bieber performed in Argentina during one of the most controversial stops of his Latin American tour.

The photographer's lawyers told Argentinian media that they have a video that might be the key to the case, since it captured the moment of the attack.

Besides this alleged attack, the lawyers accused Bieber of theft, fraud, violation of domicile and injuries to the 43rd jury of Argentina.

The accusation is joined by the complaint filed by attorney Jorge Alberto Estrada, which accused the singer of disrespectng the Argentinian flag, according to ABC.

According to Univisión, Stinfale appeared on Argentinian TV show "Animales Sueltos," and described the attack on the photographer. He said his client was waiting to take pictures of Bieber outside of a bowling alley when the singer ordered his bodyguards to take the camera from the man and check his phone.

"He ordered them to take the camera, a recorder, money from the office, and always in the same way, witnessed confirmed. He pointed at someone, and bodyguards obeyed. After that came the violation of domicile: they went inside, broke everything, went into the office to look for the film and stole almost $1,100 dollars from the office," said the lawyer, according to Univisión.

If the lawsuit proceeds, the pop singer could be detained by international authorities and face serious charges.

"They can arrest him in Istanbul if he's there, he gets to the airport and won't even get out. If the judge orders his capture, the country where he's capture might pardon prison time, but that happens once he's arrested. He's going to get stuck in some airport," the lawyer said.
