While the media focused on fellow stars of the Fast and Furious franchise, as well as his family and his daughter, one of the overlooked individuals filled with grief at the untimely demise of Paul Walker was his girlfriend, Jasmine Pilchard- Gosnell. According to the Examiner, the private life of Paul Walker was so secret that very few knew the person that Walker called "The One."
Jasmine is 23 years old and has been dating the late star for seven years. As confirmed by Heavy, their age gap, though large, was not an issue between the two and especially with Meadow, the 15-year-old daughter of Paul. She is a college student who was with Walker during the fateful fundraiser where Walker hopped into a Porsche Carrera GT with friend Roger Rodas, who later crashed the vehicle in a road in Sta Clarita, CA.
She was at the fundraiser and according to Jim Torp, who relayed the fateful day toHollywoodLife.com, said, "I got a phone call from him and he said it didn't look good, that from the looks Paul and Roger didn't make it. Paul's girlfriend was standing next to me when I got the phone call. When i Told her what happened, she fell, she collapsed."
Jasmine had flown out to Walker's Santa Barbara home, three days after the death of her beau. As reported by the Daily Mail, she appeared visibly shaken as she spent three hours in the Walker home. She alighted from a silver van barefoot and walked into the home. She broke down into tears as a male friend helped her get into the house. She was later seen at the back of a pick up truck talking with an older man.
One of the bravest moments exhibited by Jasmine though, was taking the responsibility upon herself to tell Paul's daughter, Meadow what had happened to her father.
Jasmine has yet to make an official statement on the death of Paul.
