"Diamonds" singer Rihanna admitted that she can't wait to be a mom, but she may have to wait, since she still needs to find a suitable partner to raise the child with her.
In an interview with Glamour Magazine, the singer revealed, "One day I will have kids. I look forward to the day when I'm gonna be a mum, but I'm nowhere close. I don't even have a potential baby daddy!"
The singer ended her relationship with Chris Brown for good earlier this year, and is now reportedly dating her old flame, rapper Drake.
Rihanna's friends are pleased with her relationship with the rapper. A source told Heat Magazine, as reported by Entertainment Wise, that "Rihanna's friends are really pleased. They think Drake is a positive influence on her, encouraging her to cut back on pot smoking and constant partying."
It is not sure how much of the rumors are true about her and the rapper though, as a close friend of the singer told Urban Islandz that Ri-Ri and Drake are just friends.
In another interview, the singer also shared how her mother, Monica Braithwaite, helped her get through the darker times of her life. In an interview with Metro Magazine, Rihanna said that her mom inspired her to go back to feeling like her old self again.
"I had to regain my fearlessness because it did go away for a bit. My mother said something to me a few years ago, 'I've seen something in your eyes I've never seen before - fear'. She was like, 'No, this is not you'. I just got back to being OK with myself."
The Bajan beauty also added that she got back her good mojo by "Remembering what's important in life and understanding that we are individuals with our own relationship to God. When that's clear, it's difficult to be bothered by what people think."
