Are they or aren't they?
This is the perennial question that on-and-off couples like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are concerned. However, according to Entertainmentwise, it appears that the former lovers will be lighting the Christmas fire together, which means they're moving on the side of "on" - at least for the holidays, if media speculations are to be believed.
A source close to the 23-year-old actress revealed to HollywoodLife.com that the 27-year-old actor has sent an invite to his former ladylove to visit him at his home in the U.K. for the holidays after learning her recent film got accepted into the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.
"Rob reached out to Kristen to congratulate her for Camp X-Ray being selected for Sundance. They talked for awhile and by the end of the conversation he invited her to come see him in London. Not sure if she's 100% going to take him up on it, but she was just so happy," shared Kristen's friend.
Robert had gone to London on December 2 to spend time at his home country while waiting for filming of Queen of the Desert, his next movie project, to begin.
The same mole has revealed that the objective of the invite was for the Twilight stars to spend quality time together in a bid to rebuild their relationship, which was left in tatters in May after they tried and failed to overcome trust issues in the aftermath of Kristen's infidelity. The actor has since been seen dating a string of ladies ever since, while the brunette star threw herself into her work and laid low.
Robert's invite came despite his family's rumored disapproval of his love for his Twilight co-star. His family allegedly "can't stand Kristen" and is afraid that "he'll never get away from her," a source told Life & Style. If his former leading lady accepts his invite, he may never get away from her charms - at least during the holidays.
