Miss Vivienne Jolie-Pitt is, at four years old, taking her first steps toward following her uber-talented parents Angelina and Brad toward superstardom in the motion pictures industry.  She joins the Hollywood scene as she makes her on-screen debut in an upcoming Walt Disney movie.

This mini-movie star has been casted to play a minor role in the film "Maleficent," which is the classic tale of "Sleeping Beauty," but with a twist as it is told from the perspective of the princess' wicked nemesis.

The $200 million movie features Vivienne alongside her mother, who stars as the title character Maleficent, as well as Juno Temple and Elle Fanning. Vivienne will briefly play a young version of Fanning's role as Princess Aurora.

The movie, which is being directed by Robert Stromberg and was written by Paul Dini and Linda Woolverton began filming overseas in the U.K. in June of this year.  It is slated to be released on the big screen on March 14, 2014 in 3D.

Stromberg, who will make his directorial debut with this film, is a noteworthy Hollywood player. He is a two-time Oscar Award-winner for his work as production designer in hit film "Avatar" as well as the 2010 version of "Alice in Wonderland." He has worked behind the scenes on several other big name projects, including: "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow," "The Good Shepherd," "The Golden Compass," "There Will Be Blood," and HBO's series "Boardwalk Empire."

Woolverton is another accomplished Hollywood insider who has worked with Stromberg in the past, as the writer for "Alice in Wonderland." She also assisted in the screen writing process for Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," "The Lion King," and "Mulan" in addition to numerous other films going as far back as the 1980s.
