One of the greatest hits of this summer, Daft Punk's "Get Lucky", has been covered by Bono of U2 himself.

In concert to raise funds for RED, an organization founded by Bono in 2006, the Irish singer took the opportunity to cover Daft Punk, David Bowie and the late Lou Reed.

Along with The Edge, the guitarist for the legendary Irish band, Bono shared the stage with Chic, Nile Rodgers' band.

According to Rolling Stone magazine, the charity auction to raise funds for RED, a non-profit organization that helps fight against AIDS in Africa, managed to raise 9.4 million Euro, which prompted Bono to get on stage in the after party to cover the songs as celebration.

But the French duo's song wasn't the only one covered by Bono. A series of videos uploaded to YouTube shows The Edge and Bono singing David Bowie's classic "Let's Dance", and then, Coldplay singer Chris Martin got onstage to play the keyboard in a moving cover of Lou Reed's "Perfect Day". Reed recently died in New York City.

RED was created in 2006 by Bono to fight AIDS, malaria and to promote fair trade in Africa.

Recently, Apple has decided to collaborate with RED by created a (PRODUCT) RED line, and to help achieve the dream of a generation without AIDS in 2015.
