The producers of "Star Wars: Episode VII" have released a new casting call.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, director J.J Abrams and producer Kathleen Kennedy have been looking at actors all over the world including in the U.S., the U.K. and Australia. The source is now reporting that "the duo is looking in particular for a tough-cookie girl in the 17- to 18-year-old range and a charismatic, funny guy from 19 to 23." The U.K.'s casting director Kate Bone added, "We don't want to leave any stone unturned,"  

The source is also reporting that "the producers also are looking to fill a new role: a 40-something military man a la Matt Damon in 'Elysium.'"

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has been casting for a number of months with various rumors stating that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford would return for the upcoming film. It was also revealed that Saorise Ronan, Ryan Gosling and Zac Efron were among the many actors who auditioned for the upcoming film.

The film is currently being rewritten by Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan and was originally written by Michael Ardnt ("Toy Story 3"). However, no plot details have been released.

The film is currently in pre-production Bryan Burk will also produce the film with Tommy Harper ("Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," "Jack Ryan," "Star Trek Into Darkness")Meanwhile, Jason McGatlin ("The Adventures of Tintin," "War of the Worlds") will serve as executive producer and John Williams will be returning to score "Star Wars: Episode VII."

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is slated to shoot at the Pinewood Studios in the U.K. and will be released on Dec. 18, 2015.
