Apple Inc. will reportedly discontinue the sales of the new iPhone 5c in one country due to lack of demand.
According to CTech, Apple allegedly made cuts on the iPhone 5c's production in China. And Apple didn't end there. The report added the Cupertino-based organization reduced orders for its contracted manufacturers and suppliers.

With Pegatron, Apple reportedly cut iPhone 5c production by 75 percent. To put that in perspective, Pegatron was ordered to produce 320,000 units of the iPhone 5c but now has 80,000 units to establish. Foxconn's Zhenzhou factory is allegedly producing approximately 50,000 units per week.
Due to the production cuts, some have begun to speculate that Apple will discontinue the iPhone 5c. CTech's sources, however, claimed Apple will not resort to such conclusion but may still continue to lower production as 2014 rolls on.
According to one Chinese retailer, Dixons stated 78.6 percent of its iPhone sales are due to the iPhone 5s compared to the 21.4 percent the iPhone 5c represents.
As GSM Arena noted, fellow Chinese retailer Taobao also reduced the units imported to its store from between 3,000 and 3,500 to 2,500 and 3,000 units.
As Latinos Post reported, TrendForce stated fourth quarter shipments of the iPhone 5c were forecasted to drop by 11 million units during the fourth quarter of 2013. Despite the projected drop, the iPhone 5c will likely represent 24 percent of the total iPhones sold.
Projections for the iPhone 5s are forecasted to increase more than originally expected. The iPhone 5s models are likely to represent approximately 70 percent of all iPhones shipped during the fourth quarter this year.
Apple confirmed 9 million units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were sold during its first weekend on Sept. 20. The Cupertino-based organization didn't reveal specific numbers for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c. The 9 million units for both phones were 4 million units more than the first-weekend sales of the iPhone 5 in September 2012, which sold 5 million units.
