Korea Republic and Switzerland will face off in an international friendly Friday.

Both teams have already qualified for the World Cup next summer. Korea was one of the top two teams in its group during the AFC qualifiers while Switzerland finished in first place of the UEFA World Cup qualifiers. Switzerland, which is currently ranked seventh in the world, will be among the top seeded teams when the groups are finally decided in a few weeks.

"This will be a good test for us against a strong team," Kwak Tae-hwi said, according to Yonhap News. South Korea is ranked 56th, while Switzerland in ranked seventh. "At the World Cup [next year], we're bound to face a strong country. We will try to play more organized football this time."

"Their defense has virtually no holes, and it won't be easy to score against them," added South Korea coach Hong Myung-bo, according to Global Post. "But I would like to see our players create chances the way they did against Mali [in the 3-1 victory last month]. I hope to see them play well with each other on offense."

The two sides last met in the group stage of the 2006 World Cup. Switzerland won 2-0 and eliminated Korea from the tournament.

Prediction: This will be interesting to see as both clubs are World Cup contenders and will want to put their best foot forward. Look for Switzerland to come away with a 1-0 win.

Start Time: Kick-off starts at 6 a.m. EST.

The match will not be streamed live in the United States.
