Colombia and Belgium will face off in an international friendly on Thursday.

The biggest story heading into the game relates Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho who is reportedly scouting Colombian striker Radamel Falcao before attempting to buy him for 60 million euros. Falcao is currently one of the scoring leaders in the French Ligue 1 and is the centerpiece of Colombia's attack.

Colombia has qualified for its first World Cup since 1998 but was not particularly impressive in the final few rounds of qualifiers. The team lost to Uruguay and was nearly blown out by Chile in its own stadium.

"Right now I'd say there's a little bit of uncertainty around the team. Putting results to one side, I think there's been a question mark hanging over Colombia's true potential," said former Cafeteros Coach Francisco Maturana, according to IBN Live. "The world remembers big things like Colombia in 1994. Going into that World Cup we played something like 24 games and won the lot. But then we went and lost the wrong game at the finals."

Like Colombia, Belgium is also riding a golden generation of players that include Thibaut Courtois, Romelu Lukaku, Eden Hazard, Christian Benteke, Marounane Fellaini and Vincent Kompany among others. The team finished atop Group A in the UEFA World Cup qualifiers and is also returning to the World Cup finals.

The two teams faced off in an international friendly in 1998; Belgium won 2-0.

Prediction: Colombia and Belgium draw 1-1.
Start Time: 3 p.m. EST
