Miss Universe 2013 Contestants, Predictions, Dates, News: Meet Italy, Hungary, and Kazakhstan's Contestants

On Nov.9 the Miss Universe beauty pageant will be held with 87 contestants competing for the crown. Among them are Hungary's Rebeka Kárpáti, Italy's Luna Voce and Kazakhstan's Aigerim Kozhakhanova.

Hungary's Rebeka Kárpáti is currently studying human resources at the Communication and Business College of Budapest. She dreams of traveling to different countries to help the poor upon graduation. She is also a dancer and performs several styles including ballet, belly dancing, hip-hop and modern dance.

Her road to Miss Universe began when she won Miss Universe Hungary. Kárpáti will attempt to bring the crown to Hungary for the first time as the country has never won the crown and has only made it to the Top Ten in previous outings.

Italy's Luna Voce currently studies natural sciences at the Universita della Calabria in Rende Cosenza, Italy. Additionally, she works as a model and enjoys traveling, dancing, learning different languages and being outdoors. Prior to her current job as a model, Voce was a writer for a German newspaper and served as a photojournalist during the European Soccer Championship. One of her biggest aspirations is to write a novel, a movie or classical ballet script.

The model has won a number of pageants including Miss Italia 2008, Miss International 2008, Miss Earth 2009, and Top Model of the World 2012. Voce won the Miss Universe Italy in 2013, which qualified her for the Miss Universe. The Italian model will attempt to bring the crown to Italy, which has only made it to runner-up postion twice in 1960 and 1987.

Kazakhstan's Aigerim Kozhakhanova is currently studying tourism at Eurasian Humanitarian Institute's College and works as a model. Among her hobbies are dance, reading, listening to music and going to fashion shows. Her road to Miss Universe began in 2013 when she won the Miss Universe Kazakhstan pageant.

The country has never won the crown and has never made it to the Top 15.

The competition will take place in Moscow, Russia where current winner Olivia Culpo will crown the new Miss Universe.
