The CMA Awards will take place on Tuesday night to celebrate the best in country music throughout 2013.
Competing in the Entertainer of the Year Award are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, George Strait and Taylor Swift.
Competing for Album of the Year are "Based On a True Story" ... by Blake Shelton, "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood, "Red" by Taylor Swift, "Same Trailer, Different Park" by Kacey Musgraves, and "Tornado" by Little Big Town.
The contestants for Female Vocalist are Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood. The Male Vocalist contestants are Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban.
In the Vocal Group race, the competitors are Eli Young Band, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, The Band Perry and Zac Brown Band.
Vocal Duo nominees include Big & Rich, Florida Georgia Line, Love and Theft, Sugarland and The Civil Wars.
Competing for Musician of the Year are mandolin player Sam Bush, steel guitarist Paul Franklin and guitarists Dann Huff, Brent Mason and Mac McAnally.
The New Artist nominees include Lee Brice, Brett Eldredge, Florida Georgia Line, Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves.
Music Video of the year nominees include "Blown Away" by Carrie Underwood (directed by Randee St. Nicholas), "Boys 'Round Here" by Blake Shelton featuring Pistol Annies, "Downtown" by Lady Antebellum, "Highway Don't Care" by Tim McGraw with Taylor Swift and Keith Urban, "Mama's Broken Heart" by Miranda Lambert and "Tornado" by Little Big Town.
The awards will be televised on ABC starting at 8 p.m. EST.
