On the anticipated final season of The CW's "Nikita," Nikita's main adversary may "crack a little."
Melinda Clarke, who plays the devious Amanda, told TVLine that Amanda will begin to cause problems for the nefarious Shop.
"She really starts to cause problems for The Shop because of her own personal agenda," Clarke shared. "There are some really intense things that happen along the way because of Amanda's obsession with Nikita. [Amanda's] trying to create World War III this season and she keeps trying to stop it."
The evil organization will also have a different name this upcoming season. "Percy called it The Shop," the actress said. "We're now calling it The Group."
When the spy thriller returns, Nikita (Maggie Q) will also get back with group, but Michael (Shane West), her spurned fiance, is still bitter.
"I'm still here to fight Amanda," he tells Nikita sternly, "but I am done fighting for us."
Although Mikita may be in trouble next season, the Division will still be going strong in a new and improved space.
TVLine's architecture critic Meg Masters visited the season 4 set and said that the new Division headquarters there will be a "lair in the air."
"It does not disappoint," Masters said. "While it's hard to replace the old Division digs, the new headquarters, while cozy, bear all the "Nikita" staples - action figures, assorted trinkets and nerd caves included."
The drama will kick off its final six-episode season on Friday, Nov. 22. The fourth and final season will air over six straight weeks, and will close out with a dramatic series finale on December 27.
The official final season synopsis reads: "Framed for assassinating the President at the end of last season, Nikita finds herself at the beginning of season four alone and on the run, hunted as the most wanted woman in the world. But when she follows up a lead that could clear her name, Nikita unexpectedly finds herself reunited with her old team. Forced to work together again, Nikita and her allies have to get past their emotional wounds in order to take down their nemesis, Amanda. In the process, they discover that the plot to frame Nikita is actually part of a much larger conspiracy, one that could lead to global catastrophe."
Showrunner Craig Silverstein recently told TVLine that the final season of "Nikita" will "come to a conclusion. As much of one as possible."
Silverstein said that Amanda and The Shop will be the main adversaries next season, and that the "villain of the week" plots will dissipate in order to look at larger, serialized events.
"So, [next season] will be like going right for the icing on the cake and not having to worry about the cake. We'll get right to the good stuff right away," Silverstein added.
The fourth and final season airs Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
