Move over Chucky, a new horrifying doll has emerged that is creepy enough to scare the pants off of you.
"Twilight Forever" has unveiled a creepy baby doll that was created to be the child of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson). The toy is featured in a clip from behind-the-scene footage of "Twilight Forever: The Complete Saga," a 12-disc DVD collector's set out that was released on DVD and Blue Ray on Tuesday. In the video, producer Wyck Godfrey calls the doll "one of the most grotesque animatronic babies ever to not be seen on film."
The collector's set shows bonus footage of Renesmee, an animatronic baby that was nicknamed "Chuckesme" due to its resemblance to the classic "Child's Play" star. Because the doll looked so disturbing, the cast and crew nickmaned it "Chuckesmee." Kristen Stewart even told late night talk show host Jay Leno that the doll frightened her because it so "closely resembled Chuckie," reports E! News.
Godfrey continued saying, "You're trying to create something that's otherworldly with Renesmee, that is kind of preternaturally intelligent, yet still look like a baby. But actually look like a little bit more mature baby."
He added, "The second you're holding it up, you realize it's never going to work."
"I understand the theory behind it, to have this creature that does all the hand movements and stuff," Nikki Reed says in the 80-second video clip. "I'm holding a 60-pound mechanical doll and me and the doll have to move our bodies at the same time. It's really difficult for me."
