It's certainly understandable why celebrity chef Guy Fieri would be upset with his hairdresser, but the Food Network star may have overreacted just a bit by forcefully shoving him out of his car during an altercation.
Cameras caught the Fieri, 45, kicking his screaming hair dresser, Ariel Ramirez, out of a black SUV over the weekend. According to TMZ, the two were coming from San Francisco International Airport and had been drinking. They were taking a car service home on Saturday when things apparently took a turn for the worse. Paparazzi filmed Ramirez screaming and crying uncontrollably while punching Fieri through the car's open door and window. Fieri is also seen kicking Ramirez while the two engaged in a profanity-laced screaming match.
Inside sources say the brawl was apparently precipitated by an argument "about nothing."
"It was just dudes being dudes," an insider told TMZ.
"A bunch of guys were messing around," Fieri's rep told the gossip site. "Things got a little out of hand, but they're all good now."
On Monday, Fieri testified in the trial of a Marin County teen accused of stealing his Lamborghini in 2011.
The Lamborghini was stolen from a dealership in March 2011 while undergoing routine maintenance. The suspect, Max Wade, is said to have rappelled inside from an upper window. More than a year went by before police were able to recover the $200,000 car which was found at a large storage facility.
"We would get calls all the time and I mean all the time," Fieri said. "I have friends calling me saying, listen I just saw your car on the freeway and I'm like believe it or not there is more than one yellow convertible Lamborghini in Northern California and people would call, well, to come find out that he was driving it, brave kid," said Fieri according to ABC News.
