Kate Upton wants to be the upcoming Bond girl in James Bond 24.
During an interview with The Inquisitor, Upton said, "It's a very prestigious title, and it would be a very cool role. I would need to go through some intense training to learn all the Bond Girl moves."
When asked who her favorite Bond girl was, Upton said she loved Halle Berry.
The film is currently casting, but none of the producers have made any announcements. Helen Flannigan was rumored to have auditioned for the Bond girl part. Flannigan spoke to Los Angeles casting directors regarding the film and, according to an unidentified source, "they felt she had a unique look, great figure and natural charm on screen."
Upton is a well-known model that recently turned to acting. She was recently seen in "The Three Stooges" and "Tower Heist." Upton is slated to appear in "The Other Woman" starring Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann.
James Bond 24 is the follow-up to "Skyfall," the most successful film in the franchise's history.
James Bond 24 will be directed by Sam Mendes and is slated to once again star Daniel Craig ("The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo") as James Bond, Ralph Fiennes ("The Invisible Woman") as M, Naomie Harris ("Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom") as Money Penny and Ben Whishaw ("Cloud Atlas") as Q.
John Logan ("Gladiator") will write the script for the new movie. The new film is rumored to shoot in Ireland and will start production in early 2014. James Bond 24 will be released in the U.K. on Oct. 23, 2015 and in the U.S. on Nov. 6, 2015.
