Manchester United will take on Norwich City in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
The defending Premier League champs have struggled throughout the 2013-14 season but are coming off a huge comeback victory against Stoke City this past weekend. United trailed the game throughout but managed a late winning goal from Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez to get the three points.
Young prospect Wilfried Zaha is expected to get a start on Tuesday in what would be his first appearance with the club in almost three months. Coach David Moyes revealed that he had not found the proper moment to utilize the 20-year-old but still had plans to give him a more extensive role with the club in coming months.
"I just don't think we have had the right opportunity to get him on as much as he would have liked. We don't want to put him in too quickly. We want to make it the right time," Moyes said, according to ESPN.
Moyes noted that he could loan Zaha out in the upcoming transfer window to get him more playing time. "I've said I would look at it in January as I wanted to have him here for six months to see how we work. I told him we would try to get him minutes but the competition in the wide areas we have, with Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj and even Shinji Kagawa playing off the side, means we are as strong there as anywhere."
Meanwhile, Norwich City is coming off a 0-0 draw against lowly Cardiff City and is still looking for its first season win since Sept. 29 against Stoke City. The Canaries have not managed to put together two straight wins this season.
Prediction: In the past, this would have been looked upon as an easy win for the Red Devils. However, their recent history does not bode well and this will likely be harder battle than most hope. Ultimately, expect Manchester United to take down the Canaries of Norwich City 2-0.
