Chris Brown is back in court and in trouble.
Brown appeared in court Monday after allegedly assaulting a fan over the weekend. The altercation occurred Sunday around 4:30 a.m. after Brown left The Park at Fourteen nightclub in Washington D.C. where he was hosting a party in celebration of Howard University's homecoming.
Brown was reportedly heading to his tour bus to go back to his hotel when he got into a scuffle with a man identified as 20-year-old Isaac Adams Parker of Beltsville, Maryland. Brown's camp claims that Parker was trying to enter his tour bus, however a police report obtained by CNN states that Parker tried to jump into a photo in which Brown was posing with a female fan on the sidewalk. Brown then reportedly yelled "I'm not down with that gay s-t" and "I feel like boxing" before he punched him in the face with his closed fist, the report said.
Parker also told police that Brown's bodyguard stepped in and punched him in the face again. The bodyguard, who stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 240 pounds, then grabbed Brown by the arm and pulled him towards the tour bus.
Brown and the bodyguard were taken into custody and were being held at the Second District police station Sunday morning. They were later transferred to a central jail cell block for processing, police said.
As for Parker, he was treated for a bruised and swollen face and released from the hospital. A TMZ report reveals that Parker may have had his nose broken and will require surgery.
The arrest could have serious legal consequences for Brown who is already on probation in California for the domestic violence conviction involving then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.
Probation rules require Brown to stay out of all legal trouble. Even an arrest that does not lead to a conviction could result in a probation violation charge.
Brown was due in court Monday afternoon.
