Mexican Actress Eiza González Denies Being Depressed

Mexican singer and actress Eiza González denied being depressed, after the 23-year-old's cryptic messages on Twitter started rumors she was "losing it," People en Español reported.

During the weekend, González posted on Twitter, "Resúmen de mi fin de semana: ver pelis, comer, ir al cine, comer, ver pelis, ir al cine. Repetir esto durante tres días" ("Summary of my weekend: watching movies, eating, going to the movies, eating, watching movies, going to the movies. Repeat this for three days").

The star also shared a picture where she can be seen lying in bed, wrapped, helping herself with some ice cream and snacks.

However, the "Amores Prohibidos" star explained she is in no way depressed. "Qué risa! Según los medios porque me quedé un fin de semana a descansar estoy 'deprimida'. Ahora sí me reí fuerte. Qué MAL informados están." ("What a laugh! According to the media just because I stayed home over the weekend to rest, I'm 'depressed.' Now I'm laughing out loud. You're so poorly informed").

People en Español informed that some media outlets stated that González was eating alone in bed because she was 'depressed' after her relationship with Australian actor and Miley Cyrus ex-fiancée Liam Hemsworth didn't work out.

It all started when González was photographed kissing the "Hunger Games" actor back in September. The actress decided to keep things low-profile and refused to talk about Hemsworth during a press conference.

"Is the charm of Los Angeles named Liam Hemsworth?," a reported asked her.  "Los Angeles is a city that fills me with energy, it's a city with a lot of growth, a lot of cinema culture. I'm glad, super happy and my happiness is that: my work. Right now my happiness is my work," replied González, making it clear she would only talk about her work.

González previously dated Mexican businessman Pepe Díaz for about two years, but when it was rumored he had cheated on her several times, the actress decided to end the relationship. "Let me tell you that I've been single for more than a month! I'm happy and closing this cycle because here comes an incredible one that is getting me very excited," tweeted González.
