Fans of the hit series “Castle” watch it for a reason. It has it all. Compelling love stories, crime fighting and top notch acting. For what more could you ask? The show revolves around its two central characters, Rick Castle and Kate Beckett. They’re the anchor of the series. Without them, there would be no “Castle.” They’re top detectives, the top love story interest, the top everything. At times, it’s easy to forget that there are other characters on the show that are hidden in their shadows, yet equally important to the show’s allure. Castle and Beckett are only as good as the supporting characters around them. So let’s not forget about the pawns that help bring our kings and queens safely home. They deserve to be celebrated.
In this week’s episode, one character in particular, Alexis, comes to the forefront as she engages in a heated argument with Rick. He lays into her verbally about her choice of boyfriend when he and Kate comes across a crucifixion-style murder. You can check out the grisly details in an exclusive sneak peek at TVLine.
In the clip from the episode, titled “Get a Clue,” Rick is in the midst of ranting about Pi, calling him and “ambition-free hippie” and a “New Age crusader,” much to Kate’s chagrin, when they arrive at the crime scene. What they see changes their demeanors to say the least. They stumble upon a dead woman with stigmata-like wounds, strange cult symbols around her apartment, and a rather dodgy monk, which leads Castle to believe that they've uncovered a conspiracy reminiscent of the "Da Vinci Code."
