Swansea City will look to take control of Group A in the Europa League when it faces Kuban Krasnodar on Thursday.

Michael Laudrup's team is off to a terrific start in the tournament with two wins in as many tries. The team opened its tournament with a shocking 3-0 win in Valencia against the team that was seen as the favorite to win the group. Swansea City followed that effort up with a solid 1-0 home victory against Swiss team St. Gallen.

Kuban Krasnodar has had a tournament to forget with two losses in two games. The team opened up with a 2-0 loss against St. Gallen. The second game at home was supposed to restore hope to the team. Afterall, it was facing a Valencia team that was struggling with massive confidence issues. Krasnodar should have taken advantage at home in this game, but failed massively; Valencia came away from the game with a 2-0 victory despite failing to score until the 73th minute of play.

A win here for Swansea would give the team breathing room atop the group. St. Gallen and Valencia will face off on Thursday and could potentially draw.

Prediction: Kuban Krasnodar's start has done them no favors and being on the road against Swansea should make them the uncontested underdogs of this contest. Look for Swansea to stun the Russian contingent throughout the game and pull off a 3-0 victory.
