Bayern Munich will look to continue its terrific season when it takes Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The reigning Champions are coming off a 4-1 win against Mainz this weekend in the Bundesliga but trailed 1-0 in the early going. The team's coaching staff has noted that the team will need to improve its starts at home in order to retain its titles.
"I'm pleased with the result, [but] we've always had problems in the first half here at the Allianz Arena," said Coach Pep Guardiola, according to ESPN. "We need to improve on that very soon, and I'm certain we will. I was calm at half-time. We made a few changes to our formation and Arjen [Robben] moved over to the left.''
The team will be without Dante but will have Franck Ribery available for the game. Ribery revealed that he was asked to rest after a grueling few weeks with the French international side.
"It's nothing serious and I wanted to play, but the doctor said it was too much of a risk," Ribery said, according to UEFA.com.
Munich won its first two games of the tournament in dominant fashion. Munich destroyed CSKA Moscow 3-0 in its first game before silencing Manchester City in a 3-1 win on the road.
Viktoria Plzen is looking for its first point of the tournament after losing 3-0 against Manchester City and then losing 3-2 with CSKA Moscow.
Prediction: Munich should win 4-0.
