Kanye West surprised his girlfriend Kim Kardashian with a birthday present that she will never forget on Monday.
The 36-year-old rapper proposed to the 33-year-old reality star with a huge 15-carat diamond ring, reports E! News. Kanye stayed true to his over-the-top nature and popped the question at San Francisco's AT&T Park baseball stadium, which he rented out for the occasion.
The message "PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!" was displayed on the JumboTron as an orchestra played one of his original songs. Plus, all of Kim's family and friends were there to share in the special moment on Monday night.
The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and the new mom is planning to have a mega bash at Tao nightclub in Las Vegas Friday, reports ABC News.
Earlier this year, the Grammy-winning rapper professed his love for Kim and their newborn baby North West during an appearance on Kris Jenner's talk show. "After I lost my mother, there were times I felt like, I would put my life at risk. I felt like sometimes I didn't have something to live for," the singer told Jenner, Kardashian's mother and manager back in August. "Now I have two really special people to live for, a whole family to live for. A whole world to live for."
This will be not the first wedding for Kardashian, who has been married twice before: once to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2004 and then to NBA player Kris Humphries for 72 days in 2011.
Humphries reportedly cashed in on the humongous engagement ring he gave Kim. At the time of their engagement, it was believed that the Lorraine Schwartz ring that the NBA star gave Kardashian was worth $2 million, however, it was later valued by Christie's at between $300,000 and $500,000. Last week, the gigantic 16.2-karat emerald cut center stone sold for $749,000 at an auction in New York.
