Back on Oct. 2, the Anaheim Ducks were destroyed 6-1 by the Colorado Avalanche. They have not lost a single game since then. The Ducks will look to extend their winning streak when they take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.

The team is currently on a seven-game winning streak but is coming off a five-game homestand. The club has managed two road wins but will now play away from Anaheim for eight straight games.

The Ducks' most recent game was a 6-3 win over the Dallas Stars; the team trailed 3-1 after the first period but responded with five unanswered goals.

"Everybody took more responsibilities, and we started doing the things we need to do to get better," said Teemu Selanne about the comeback according to the NHL's official website. "It was a good character win, coming back from two goals. This team never stopped believing we could come back, even last year. That's the one strength we have right now."

The Maple Leafs won six of their first seven but lost their last two games against the Carolina Hurricanes and Chicago Blackhawks. The most recent loss showcased a heavily outplayed Leafs side that was outshot 40-20 and lost 3-1; the Maple Leafs conceded three goals in the second period.

Prediction: Anaheim is on fire and the Maple Leafs are starting to prove possession analysts right with their poor possession numbers and corresponding results. Expect the Ducks to put another dent on an otherwise solid Toronto start; Ducks win 3-1.

Start Time: 7 p.m. EST
