Tiger Woods Wants To Win All Four Grand Slams Next Year; Believes Rory McIlroy Will Bounce Back

World's No.1 golfer Tiger Woods has set his sights on more glory next year as he plans to strengthen his game and hopefully win all four Grand Slam golf events next year.

Fresh off another sensational year of golfing, the reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year is apparently eager to end his six-year losing streak in Grand Slam tournaments.

The 37-year-old Woods last won a Grand Slam crown at the 2008 US Open Championship at Torry Pines, but since then, he hasn't found his luck in all four majors event (Masters, US Open, British Open and PGA Championship). However, the 14-time Grand Slam champion has remained optimistic about his chances next year.      

"As far as some of the things I'd like to get better at, that's obviously peaking at the right times and getting the four big events (majors) next year that I'd like to win. Hopefully I can do that," Woods said in an interview with Sky Sports.

Aside from Grand Slam aspirations, Woods tackled as well the struggles of former world's no.1 and two-time majors champion Rory McIlroy.

Woods, who developed a close relationship with the Irish golfer, believed McIlroy will return to form next season. He added that McIlroy only needs to manage his time on and off the course and continue to work on his game.

"I think he's had a lot of change not only in his game, but off‑the‑course management, sponsorships. He's had a lot of things going on this year," Woods said.

"He hasn't played as well as he has in prior years, but he's still ranked pretty high. I think he's either fifth or sixth in the world. A lot of guys don't even get that high," he added.

McIlroy, who reportedly decided to split with tennis star Caroline Wozniacki to regain his old form, is about to kick off a six-week tournament campaign at the Kolon Korea Open this week. McIlroy is also set to participate in the 18-man Woods' World Challenge at Sherwood Country Club in California on Dec. 5 through 8.

Others joining Tiger's event are: defending champion Graeme McDowell along with Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Ernie Els, Jason Day, Steve Stricker, Bubba Watson, Hunter Mahan, Nick Watney, Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, Jim Furyk and Keegan Bradley. Woods will also participate in his event.
