“The Big Bang Theory” continues its reign as the funniest and nerdiest sitcom on television. Week after week fans desperately cling on to their dose of science shenanigans and young awkward love.
This week’s episode, titled, ;The Workplace Proximity,” exactly that. A new promo previews couples who struggle to find the right amount of distance. As the official synopsis reads, “Sheldon must decide how much ‘Amy Time’ is too much after he takes a job at his university. Meanwhile, Howard finds himself sleeping on Raj’s couch after a fight with Bernadette.” Check out the video below.
Fans are eager to learn what becomes of Sheldon and Amy’s relationship. They’re willing to sit through the teeth-grinding awkwardness and romance atrocities to see their love blossom, and the numbers don’t lie.
According to Adweek, “The Big Bang Theory” commands a $326,260 per 30-second ad spot, topping NBC’s “The Voice” and ABC’s “Modern Family.” People love “The Big Bang Theory,” so naturally, marketing agencies love the ad space. The show is averaging 19.2 million viewers and a 5.6 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and continue to trend upward.
