Christian Chávez Says His Suicide Attempt Shown on Twitter Was Real. Ex-Boyfriend Says He's Lying [VIDEO]

Mexican singer Christian Chávez affirmed on a video uploaded to his personal Twitter account @christiancha that the pictures of his alleged suicide attempt were real, but his ex-boyfriend Ben Kruger says that's a lie.

Website Latin Times explains that Ben Kruger sent a letter in which he says that the former Rebelde member has had made many alleged suicide attempts to get attention.

For Kruger it's "disturbing that he uploaded a video saying the pictures were real and if they are, why isn't he in a psychiatric hospital? Why isn't he getting treatment? Why is he showing his actions on Twitter? This is very suspicious to me".

Kruger's testimony tells of the beginning of his relationship with Chávez, when they met in "December, 2011 through a mutual friend at a Christmas party. I didn't know he was famous. At first he told me he was an intern in Telemundo and then he mentioned he also singed a little".

He also wrote about the influence the singer's work and fame had on their relationship "He told me there would probably be an article with a picture in it. We managed to keep the relationship hidden for almost 4 months (...) He walked on the red carpet of some event and I would go in through the back door, if I went at all".

Kruger told Latin Times that the first time he noticed something negative in Chávez was in a night club, where the former RBD showed a side of him Kruger didn't like, when he was extremely aggressive towards a person that accidentally hit on Kruger.

"He was incredibly territorial about me. A boy at the club touched me and Christian threw him against a wall. Christian was so furious we had to leave".

Regarding the problems the singer constantly had with his ex-boyfriend, Kruger said that "Christian has a history using ploys to get attention and get headlines. He's a deeply affected individual with psychotic tendencies. He was filled with problems before I met him, he had problems when I was with him and he has had problems since we separated".
