On the latest "Once Upon a Time," the Storybrooke gang enlisted the help of a famous fairy, and Neal figured out that only The Shadow could help him.
In the episode, a flashback shows Tinker Bell (Rose McIver) helping Queen Regina (Lana Parrilla) find love by pointing her in the direction of Robin Hood. Yet when faced with the prospect, Regina panics and runs. Tinker Bell had taken pixie dust from the Blue Fairy for naught. When Tink's found out, she has her wings clipped and is divested of her magic. This elicits a lot of resentment from Tink toward Regina.
Back in present day fairytale land, Neal (Michael Raymond-James) is able to get back to Neverland by getting Robin Hood's young son, Roland, to summon The Shadow by saying "I believe." Neal is then transported to Neverland, where he is dropped at Felix's feet. "Welcome back, Baelfire.... Pan will be so happy to see you!" Felix says.
Before Neal left, he tells Mulan (Jamie Chung) in reference to Emma (Jennifer Morrison), "When you love someone, you don't keep it in. You say it." This prompts Mulan to go to Aurora (Sarah Bolger) to confess her love. Yet, Aurora then tells Mulan that she and Prince Philip are expecting. Mulan congratulates her, but she is secretly heartbroken.
Pan (Robbie Kay) has started moving his camp, making it harder for Emma and the team to find him. Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) then makes a suggestion: ask for Tinker Bell's help. Regina is reluctant, but it turns out that Tink has been trailing Regina all along. Tink knocks her out with poppies and takes Regina to a cave, where Regina offer up her own heart. Tink finally agrees to help Emma, Hook and the rest find Pan's secret lair.
Meanwhile, Pan shows Henry the drawing of the Truest Believer, and tells him that he, not Emma, could be the Truest Believer, and that he may be able to save magic everywhere. Hook also discovers that Charming (Josh Dallas) has been poisoned by Dreamshade, but they keep it a secret.
On the next episode, "Nasty Habits," will Pan be Mr. Gold's (Robert Carlyle) undoing? The synopsis reads: "Mr. Gold makes a decision to confront Pan, David struggles for his life as the poison begins to take its toll on him, and in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin goes in search of Bae-who has followed a mysterious figure who steals away children with his music."
TVLine also reports that on an upcoming episode, Hook's backstory will be revealed, as will his history with Pan. Colin O'Donoghue (Hook) said, "You'll see different colors to Hook, and to Killian Jones before he becomes Hook. You begin to understand a bit more why he is so self-absorbed, apart from the whole thing with Milah and why he's a pirate. [It's about] how he becomes a pirate, which is brilliant. The guys have done a great job with that."
Also, contrary to a claim made in the "Once Upon a Time" Season 2 DVD set, Milah and Killian were never married.
