England will look to clinch a spot in the World Cup when it takes on Poland on Tuesday.
The Three Lions only need a win against the Poles to book passage to the tournament next summer and are coming off a huge 4-1 win against Montenegro. Despite the victory, the team has been heavily criticized for its style of play. Coach Roy Hodgson recently addressed the concerns.
"We have tried to play that way all along," Hodgson said, according to Eurosport. "If people have wanted to see the quality of our passing and the quality of our movement, there are a lot of games they could have used to prove that if you like.
He noted that the criticism was the result of a recent draw the team incurred against the Ukraine in a must-win situation. Many felt that England looked punch-less at offense and were not as dangerous as previously thought.
"It seems to me the criticisms came largely as a result of a 0-0... It seems to be 0-0 games are an anathema to journalists and they see lots of terrible things when teams draw 0-0," he added. "Nothing much has changed in terms of our approach, although I would say we are getting better all the time. I think a lot of the younger players, the exciting players add something to our team."
Poland is officially eliminated from contention after losing to Ukraine on Friday.
Prediction: England manages a 3-0 win.
Start Time: Kick-off starts at 3 p.m. EST
