Germany will take on Sweden in a hotly anticipated World Cup qualifiers rematch.

The Germans have clinched a spot in the World Cup next summer thanks to a 3-0 win over Ireland on Friday. The team fielded by Coach Joachim Loew featured a number of players that could be in the starting lineup next summer.

"I used this campaign to make my team more stable," stated Loew, according to ESPN. "It hinges around the opponent you play, they will have a major role in making games attractive or nice to watch for the spectators, but I feel we have made progress and this team is more solid and stable than it was in the Euro 2012 finals."

The matchup with Sweden has little impact on the standings but means a great deal for both sides. Last year, the Germans held a 4-0 lead at home against Sweden but wound up conceding four straight and settling for just one point.

"When it finishes 4-4 after you are 4-0 up at home, you will not be the media darling for that weekend," Loew said about the matchup Tuesday. "We had to take the flak for conceding four in a row and there's no need to remind the team. We have played to our potential in the last two games and we have one more left. We have a score to settle with the Swedes, but all in the best professional manner."

Sweden has locked up a playoff spot in the next round and will look to test its form against Germany.

Prediction: Germany manages a 2-0 win.
