Spain will look to clinch its spot in the World Cup next summer when it takes on Georgia on Tuesday.

The World Champions need just one point from their home game to book a spot in the tournament. The team is coming off a 2-1 win over Belarus, but the performance was far from satisfactory according to Coach Vicente Del Bosque.

"The game followed the guide we expected beforehand," said Del Bosque, according to Gulf News. "All of our opponents play like this. We didn't have penetration in our play, but the most important thing is that we won and we are close to the objective.

He added, "We made the changes that we needed in the second half to have more penetration on the wings. Once the first goal went in though, we began to conserve what we had, which is very dangerous. I think we need to go looking for more goals."

Spain failed to score in the entire first half and the addition of players like Michu and Nacho Monreal failed to help the team execute its game plan.

Regarding his goaltending situation, Del Bosque has remained quiet and it is unknown whether Iker Casillas' benching in favor of Victor Valdes on Friday is temporary or permanent. "All the goalkeepers are training at the same pace. Casillas has only played one game this month," he said, according to Marca. "We'll see what happens in the future and who starts against Georgia".

Prediction: Spain wins 2-0.
