Argentinian singer Pablito Ruiz made controversial statements during his participation in reality show "Trepadores" by TV network Mega, saying that Mexican singer Luis Miguel is bisexual.

According to information shared by El Informador, within a round of confessions in the same Chilean reality show, the singer pointed out that Luis Miguel has bisexual preferences despite always being surrounded by beautiful women.

Entertainment magazine TVNotas points out that Pablito Ruíz knew of Luis Miguel's bisexuality thanks to a "very good source". The information shocked the show's contestants, hosted by Chilean Pablo Mackenna and among which are internationally renowned celebrities like Paraguayan model Larissa Riquelme who became famous in the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and became "The World Cup's Darling" after sensually posing during matches.

Pablo also confessed that he had an encounter with singer Ricky Martin saying "I was 17 years old, I hadn't slept with another man yet. He was 22 or 23. It was in Mexico, I was touring there and he lived there, he was making a telenovela and we met at a party, it wasn't a public party, our dancers were there, our teams, people of trust".

TVNotas explains that Pablito Ruiz has been comfortable with his sexuality for some time and assured Ricky Martin's homosexuality just after the Puerto Rican singer admitted it. Sipse published in April 2010 that the Argentinian singer had already given details on the kiss he shared with Ricky Martin saying "I'm going to confess something very strong: I had a couple of kisses with Ricky Martin". The Argentinian singer added that they met at the party and "we just kissed in the lips there".

Mexican radio network Radio Fórmula said that the show hosted by Mexican René Franco shared the audio of Pablito Ruiz coming out of the closet, and him detailing a relationship he had when he was 18 which lasted 8 months and "El Sol's" bisexuality.
