Has Iker Casillas' girlfriend Sara Carbonero started the transfer rumors?
Carbonero, who is pregnant with the Real Madrid netminder's baby, recently told the press that she did not know where her child would be born.
"I don't know whether my child will be born in Madrid or outside Spain; now's not the time to talk about that," she said, according to Marca.
In July it was announced that Carbonero was 13 weeks pregnant, which means that she is due to have the child around the January transfer window.
Casillas currently plays for Real Madrid but his relegation to second string netminder behind Diego Lopez has created a tremendous amount of speculation about whether he might look for an exit in January. There are a number of teams rumored to have interest in the iconic goalie including Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Manchester City. There was also speculation the Casillas could replace Victor Valdes at Barcelona, but recent reports indicate that the Catalan club could be looking for a younger replacement.
Casillas recently noted that he was maintaining a level head about his current situation with Madrid and that he supported Lopez and Ancelotti.
"The most important this is Real Madrid... With this goalkeeper rotation you can see that we are all on the winners on that. I see the positive side of it. Diego wins, I win, Real Madrid wins," said Casillas, according to Inside Futbol.
Casillas is slated to remain as the starting goalie for Spain during the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
