Wedding season has come and gone, but the best has been saved for last. The ninth season of the hit series “Bones” will host one of the most anticipated, heart-melting weddings of all time. At last, Booth and Brennan will tie the knot. It’s been a long, trying road, but now is the time. It’s real this time. So tune the organs, roll out the gowns and polish the ring, it’s time for the wedding of the year.
For diehard fans who simply cannot wait to catch their first glimpse of the lovely Emily Deschanel, who plays Brennan on the show, in her shimmering wedding dress, now’s your chance. Although the actress had to make her gown decision on the fly, new photos from from the October 21 wedding episode assure fans that she chose wisely.
“I tried on five [dresses], and this was the most flattering,” Deschanel said, who had 20 minutes to make her choice. She landed on a $4,800 off-white gown by Romona Keveza, TV Guide reports. Check out the photo of Brennan sporting her new dress here.
“I love her done-up hair with the braid, and I must say her toes look beautiful," said David Boreanaz, who plays her soon-to-be on screen hubby Booth.
In a previous episode, Brennan shows [maid of honor] Angela a picture of a wedding dress she found in a magazine when she was 8 years old," Deschanel said. "So the dress had to look like something that would have appealed to young Brennan before she went through all the death stuff. Even though her life changed, she still held on to this dream, and I think that's wonderful!"
The wedding may still be a couple weeks away, but that doesn’t mean we can’t revel in the excitement. All we can say is, “finally.”
