Following the allegations made by CNN en Español presenter Carmen Aristegui acussing Televisa's talk show host Laura Bozzo of staging a show by venturing into the state of Guerrero to help out victims of the storm that hit the area last week, the Peruvian TV personality has been been attacked by the audience because, according to Latin Times, "she is seen as a disgrace to the country for the humiliation her panelists go through on a day-to-day basis."
Now a song inspired on Bozzo, written by Carlos Chavira for the show "Just Fukin,"calls the talk show host a "terrorist" and a "liar."
The tune, titled "Vieja Mentirosa" ("Lying Old Woman") has gone viral with over 576.870 views on YouTube since it was uploaded last Saturday (Sept. 28).
"I am going to tell you a story about a terrible woman that came to Mexico because she was not liked in her home country," Chavira sings on "Vieja Mentirosa," that is already available for download on iTunes. "She made fun of the poor people and she is now the most hated woman by a whole nation."
Then videos submitted by users calling Bozzo a "vieja mentirosa" start popping up as part of the chorus, while an animated version of the TV personality says lines like "I went there to help," "I carried boxes," "my arm hurts," "I don't cause a circus" and "I am Mexican," Latin Times reported.
The song continues, "You don't know what to do with your show, you utilize the poor to gain fame. Stop telling us that you're Mexican just because you know you can't be Peruvian. Don't contaminate the Mexican culture, that's why I want them to take away your show."
"Vieja Mentirosa" also attacks Bozzo for her rescue efforts, "Everyone knows that you went to Coyuca to stage a circus for your contraband show" and for using the poor to get more rating on her show. "Don't compare yourself to a journalist," referring to CNN en Españo presenter, Carmen Aristegui. "Stop saying you were a rescue worker; Laura you're the terrorist."
"No, no, no, it can't be true that your show is the most watched," the tune continues, referring to Bozzo's show on Televisa "Laura" being one of the highest rated entertainment shows in Mexico. "If you really wanted to help us, go back to your country, we don't need you."
