We’re days away from the biggest presidential scandal our nation has ever seen. The president's affair is now public. It’s over. The news will rock the nation and crush its integrity. It’s unclear exactly how the public will react, but next week, everything will become clear.
“Scandal” is now just a few days away from its Season 3 debut, and fans couldn’t be happier. Now that Olivia’s affair with the president is out in the open, the entire landscape of the show has shifted. It’s a whole new world. Season 3 promises to bring new characters, new secrets and new scandals that are sure to rock the capitol. Last season’s central scandal revolved around the president’s affair, and now that it’s out in the open, new issues and conniving plots are sure to ensue.
But what about those long forgotten? There are still matters from Season 1 that have yet to be addressed. Certain occurrences must not go overlooked. In the first season, fans may recall that Cyrus hired Charlie to kill Amanda Tanner, and now it’s time to close the door on what should have been a much more pressing issue. If it does resurface, however, don’t expect James to run from his husband.
“There’s a lot about what my husband is capable of that I don’t know,” Dan Bucatinsky told TVLine. “But I feel like on some level James knew exactly what he was getting in to — maybe not to that extent, but I think there’s a lot more to James than meets the eye in terms of raw ambition, not just to be a parent, but to succeed in Washington.”
“Scandal” will return to ABC this Thursday, October 3.
