Can you feel the autumn breeze? As it slowly descends from the north, it runs down our spines and embeds a chill deep in your bones. It’s impossible to shake. It’s the point of no return, and that point has almost been breached. The leaves will soon begin to change. The nights will become longer, colder. The night dwellers will soon embark from their winter caves in a rabid hunger, anxious to feed. It’s the season’s indubitable call, and the beasts instinctually call. To make matters even eerier, October will bring along not only Halloween, but the return of “American Horror Story.”
As previously reported, series favorite Zachary Quinto has not yet been confirmed to star in the third season. Although the popular "American Horror Story" actor has not been asked to appear in "Coven," which centers around a heavily female witch cast, he claims that he would be willing to do so if asked.
"I'm actually going to do a play on Broadway in the Fall," Quinto said. "But the nature of [American Horror Story] is such that I'm sure Ryan [Murphy] could call and say, 'Could you fly down on your day off and do one episode?' And if he does, I would always be open to that, but we haven't had any conversations. So as of now I'm not planning to be a part of it."
And unfortunately, that’s still the case. The Glass Menagerie recently caught up with the actor who said “No plans so far, but we’ll see how that goes as the season unfolds. I’m always open to it. I’ve been so grateful for the opportunity to work with all those people, so if I can do it again I would love to.”
If you can tell, it seems like Quinto really wants to join the “Coven” cast. Has his luck run out? Only time will tell.
