Mexican actress Sherlyn got married to businessman Gerardo Islas in the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, in a civil ceremony, according to information published by Milenio.
In a wedding that had close to 200 guests, among them many Mexican celebrities, the telenovela actress got married in the city of Cancún, in one of the most exclusive resort area. Regarding her own wedding, the actress said that "it was a wedding full of emotions, the truth is that we're a very cheesy couple".
At the end of the ceremony, Sherlyn offered a press conference where she spoke about the process regarding choosing the perfect location for the ceremony; she also explained that after finally celebrating their last day as bachelors last Friday, September 27, the couple had to research what the weather would be like in Cancún on their wedding day, just to make sure everything would be perfect.
The newspaper also reports that businessman Gerardo Islas said "fortunately we had a wonderful day, sunny and with a splendorous sunset", while the actress confessed that she feels a little different when she hears people call her "Ms. Islas" now that she is married.
VNotas shares that among the guests to the wedding, which began at 7 p.m. local time, were actors like Alicia Machado, Gabriel Soto, Alejandro Basteri and Geraldine Bazán. During the wedding Sherlyn tweeted pictures through her account @sherlyny.
